Man Is Not Measured By Goods

quarry men cut and shape
blocks of stone a church does not make
cloaked with man made crowns
bishops and kings acting like clowns
to think a steeple reaches heaven above
all you really need is love
to walk among the trees
reciting psalms that carries with the breeze
spirit bells rising to sound
roots, nourished from the ground
a path that zigs and zags
from travellers dressed fine or rags
under the light of moon and sun
blessed by the trinity, all as one
stand where you may
believe in some way
under a cathedral in the woods
man is not measured by goods
