Filled pies and ice cream sundaes. Black Forest cake riddled with bright red bulbs. Strudel and Danish covered in icing. Freshly picked, still on stems, a tease, is the one who can curl it in her mouth. Trees filled with hanging cherries, summer ignites a Ferrari red. The sweet and sour, makes the tongue sizzle, it puckers. Soda pop that fizzes, the nose tickles. Resting on the bottom of a Rob Roy is a maraschino. The Cherry, the final piece added. It makes it all perfect, when it sits on top.
