Little Miss Red ~ The Awakening

He swooned a sly smile, he wanted more than baked goods
Once his eyes lay upon this red flower in the woods
A brilliant, so Crimson
Its fragrance, a Passion
No longer a child skipping a pathway mild
She rides the forest freeborn and wild
A desire to taste
Nothing left to waste
Her hunger, as deep and wanting
As a wolf in sheeps clothing
She felt his eyes burning through the years
They watched her grow, let go, of her fears
As time was right
They would unite
What feelings lay bare, when arms laid down
Exposing the heart from a protected gown
The first cut is the deepest
It triggers a moment the sweetest
