A Wish To Disappear

If I could grasp a shooting star,
I would, with all my might, hold on,
no matter how far

It could take a thousand years,
to reach that place I know not of,
yet I yearn, I crave with daydream tears

I would leave behind and sacrifice,
forget all the differences that splits,
shed the things I wear to impress

Say goodbye to friends and family,
journey on to another galaxy,
explore the thought of a new identity

Midnight dreams turn a sour taste,
all alone on a star, travelling through space,
all alone, on a star, travelling, through space

A longing heart keeps looking back,
to see once more, before she fades away,
the only one, who could stop this track

Sunlight beams a blinding spike,
it steals the image clear from sight,
a wish to disappear, what death must be like

An unfinished poem, a forgotten story,
a song without a melody, sugarless bakery’s,
touchless, loveless, this allegory
