Mother Nature

Wind at my feet, tingles summer sweet
The moon hidden within a cool June
Clouds painted grey, misti-breath sprays
Rain drops bounce off leaves in trees they dance
Sounds of a symphony, playing natures harmony
Creating the words in my head that would be read
Sublime visions, exploding in colourful images
Waiting for the sun to rise and brighten the eyes
Deep emerald green, a blanket laid serene
Dotted with flowers, bursting their own colours
Species of every kind, filling the heart and mind
True beauty exists, when Mother Nature permits
The beholder to witness, her loving forgiveness
She may toil and thunder, turn us over and under
Split open the ground, shake the oceans around
Tossed debris, along highways built for you and me
Insulting her existence, tarnishing her brilliance
The anger unleashed, the earth besieged
Until a calm, comes from her gracious palm
Stroking a face, with a warming grace
A love for her children, in spirits kindred

Adieu

Adieu

A nothing except for those particles
Close your eyes and you’ll see darts of sparkles
But not a line nor a curve to shape alpha or numerical

Starless, blackness, a sky so dark, it sings the blues
How the sadness consumes
Obscures truth to confuse

Gibberish spewed like pulsating electrodes
Overload eminent deciphering words in codes
Via tweets, hashtags that virally explode

The hate is winning in a world, so black it’s blue
Life is measured by colour and religious views
Disbelief turns to sorrow, when lies become truth

Does anyone care if it’s homicide
Does anyone care if it’s suicide
Does anyone care that it’s genocide

The end will come dark, so black it’s blue
Day and night, hours pass for me and you
Trembling cries that bids life adieu

Love, Peace and Wonder

I stand before you, tired and meek

Frail, withered weak

Have felt the stinging burn of fire

Melt my skin, thick in mire

The pain endured to great to resist

Ride the glide, as a razor rounds wrists

Cutting in, not too deep

Tingles the flesh that yawns to sleep

The flow is slow as light fades to a glow

Where peace, finally felt, seems real

On my knees, I kneel

With the strength left

Saved, so as to express

To you, to me, see my face in the mirror

Showing all the scars of horror

My true spirit lives inside of me

Not in a garden, a promise of heavens glory

Not among the blessed martyrs

Or those taken as innocent youngsters

Here in me, with what passion I alone can muster

Announce my freedom to live in love, peace and wonder

His Journal Bled In A Black Red

Page after page, hand drawn images, shadows cast lowly visages
Never the two shall ever meet, though desire craves to greet
Sharing tids, of bits, of pieces, a puzzle begins to reason
The constant pounding as a boy, beating drums at deaths door
A shell covers his true form, hiding from a raging storm
Shades that fall, sight darkens, blackbird sings, the night harkens
His journal bled in a black red, thoughts exploding in his head
Page after page the final image, a moment frozen, captured in a message

These are the words that end a picture story
Created in the darkest colours, a black red only
Greys lightly caress, day’s that are blessed
Etched across a face, forever depressed
Lines that break tips, furiously scratching
Tearing the pages, fibres screaming
A secret held from roving eyes
Reveals a truth from constant lies
The joy of being lonely is a disease
It pains, it buckles the strongest knees
Repeats, reciting a prayer
The courage to stand square
Eye to eye in fear, bound us both
Pledge a loves never ending oath

Lips Press

Closes her eyes as his lips press

That night, the first kiss to last

His hands caress, her flesh

Memorizing the curves that dip and rise

Absorbing the trembling beat, silently cries

With each kiss planted, a smudge remains

It burns painfully sweet

Yet yearns painfully for more

The taste of her blooms nectar

Stains his lips a honey sheen

His tongue tingles between

Her open, swollen, petals

With every thrust invading her vessel

Hips rise and buck to meet

As toes curl sensually sweet

His mouth, his lips, his tongue greet her feet

Sucking and licking a ticklish treat

The moistness of her core calling again for more

In whispers she implores

She wails to screams as he penetrates her womanly door

To her heart shared from the care it breathes

Swallowing whole the unity of two

The desire to feed a starving fire is freed

Time stands still, gravity fills the thrill

Tangled all night long in ecstasies song

Together peaking in moans that long

To taste the mix of loves drink

Her mouth takes in his stick

As she savours their flavours

And licks her lips inviting

He closes his eyes as her lips press…
