You Are, The Page, The Ink, The Poem

You are, the breath, that has been held captive
Waiting for the day, it releases from being passive
From the pit, it churns, spiralling up to flutter
As the sound of bells beeping, surprising stutter
A voice as sweet as caramel with that spicy twang
Coated, chocolaty treat, that soothes like a song

The page once bare, white, pristine as freshly fallen snow
It glitters bright, markless, scarless, smooth silky bow
Waiting for the day, to be taken, in raptures bliss
To be kissed and kissed with that weak in the knees kiss
Marked and scarred, with flowing lines creating verses
That would, if it could, write an ode, in loving cursive

The ink, would glide, ride along the whitewashed fibres
Tilting to the right, so the hand can slide as liners
Filling the space with the black of a liquids grace
Absorbed into times embrace
A moment to take, not waste, a chance given
Let go, fall into that state; this must be, heaven!

The poem, expresses the desire of a beating heart
Piecing together the emotions contrived by tearing life apart
All the sadness, so much sadness, never letting go
Not until, an Angels voice, broke the hold with a glow
It stirs every nerve, it sparks into flames
Driving insane, the fire surging though the veins

The One

Is it true, what they say with words
That he would love you, until the moon fades out
That she would too, long after the shine leaves the sun
Promises in words said, over and over
This longing that we all have
Breaking our hearts
Until that day, it happens
It explodes
You can’t stop thinking about, The One
Who crashed into your world
With such a force
The stars realigned in your honor
We all clutch and grab
To get a piece of that pie
To have a taste of the cherry
Baked inside oozing of syrupy love or
Floating on the top of a dollop of a creamy pillow
Whole as a heart in love
Like its the, very first time
A spoon is used to curl up a hunk
The crust and filling tearing apart
As it passes a bank of whipped heaven
A streak that marks the runway to an open mouth
Stroking the pallet and tongue
To savour and taste, The One
Ingesting the Chefs creation
His ingredients that resembles His own
I love you, are the words needed to hear
They are, what the trinity is all about
The divine, they say is of purest heart
The damned, they say is a faithless sort
The link between the two
Is The One

Inside My Head, My Mind ~ iii/v

It just floats there in space
Round and round in an orbit
I get the theory but man, that’s out of sight

I will always look at the moon
Just as I do the stars
But not quite as hard and long

The draw is magical
It pulls strong when it’s full
That’s when I think of you

With moon dust in your hair
It would glow and shimmer
Kisses being blown with the wind

A comets tail flys by
Saluting your beauty
With heart, in glory

Angels wings would appear
Gliding down from heaven
You my dear, bring me to tears

Pray I do for the next full moon
With it comes
The thought of you

River of Love

I carry a pebble in my hand, it reminds me of the river
That winds through our hearts, when it’s calm and peaceful
Meandering lazily along, in a constant flow
Nearly silent but for the breath of wind and how it reminds me also
Of its passionate force, churning and turning
White water frothing, cascades, from mountain peaks
To the valley below picking up speed
As heart beats do with need
The rivers water hugs the banks
Caressing the earth that curves it’s way
As do I, with you, as finger tips gently glide
Stroking your lips to cheeks
Guiding them to curl up into a smile
Mine, mimic the same, before our lips meet
Moist and full
Like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle clicking in, it’s meant to be
Arms embrace to hold
How our curves do the same
Cocooned within embrace
Held close
Like a river held in the cuts of land
Always moving
Always changing
But always holding
The flow of emotion
That runs through
In the smoothness of the pebble in my hand
It reminds me of the river of love
That is you
